Super Falcons Arrive in Casablanca for WAFCON Quarter-Final

Nigeria’s Super Falcons arrived in Casablanca on Friday for their quarter-final match against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. The match will take place at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium on Sunday, kicking off at 6pm Nigerian time.

The team, coached by Justine Madugu, trained at the ASFAR training centre in Rabat on Friday morning to prepare for this crucial encounter. Should the Super Falcons advance to the semi-finals, they will return to Rabat to face either the hosts, Atlas Lionesses of Morocco, or Banyana Banyana of South Africa.

In the group stage, Nigeria finished second behind the Scorchers of Malawi, having played all three matches in Rabat against Malawi, Zambia, and Egypt. Cameroon topped Group D with seven points, ahead of the Black Queens of Ghana.
