APC Coalition Members in Delta North Raise Concerns Over Exclusion from Decision-Making

Members of the APC coalition in Delta North have expressed alarm over their exclusion from crucial decision-making processes and appointments within the party. They called for the National Chairman of the party, as well as the Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, to ensure that long-standing loyal members are fully included in governance affairs.

During a meeting in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, stakeholders urged party leaders to address concerns regarding unity and progress. Chief Alex Ikpeazu emphasized the importance of promoting equity and fairness within the party, highlighting the dedication of old APC members despite political challenges.

The coalition leaders, including Kenneth Rafua and Ben Lionheart William, stressed the significance of inclusivity and warned that exclusions could lead to discontent and undermine party loyalty. They appealed to party leaders to avoid actions that could alienate committed members and described unity as the backbone of political success.

Notable figures like Gabriel Ohai Odogwu, a pioneer member of the APC, also called for the integration of old members into governance structures. The members reaffirmed their loyalty to the APC and pledged support towards the re-election efforts of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
