Labour Party Declares Financial Limitations Compared to APC, PDP

The Labour Party, through its representative Usman Ken Eluma, has publicly declared that it does not possess the financial resources comparable to those of larger political parties such as the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the People's Democratic Party (PDP). This statement was a reaction to remarks made by former public secretary Toni Aken, who expressed concerns regarding the party's financial difficulties.

Eluma clarified that the party operates within a limited budget and is not facing a financial crisis, contrary to Aken's claims. He attributed Aken's departure from the party to unrealistic expectations regarding its financial capabilities.

Additionally, Eluma addressed ongoing leadership disputes within the party, asserting that a court judgment recognizes Nenadi Usman as the national chairman of the Labour Party, which has been acknowledged by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
