We Don’t Know Ibas, We Will Not Participate In Rivers LG Election – ADC

The ADC party has announced that they will not participate in the upcoming local government election in Rivers State scheduled for August 30, 2025. The party's state Publicity Secretary, Luckyman Egila, described the poll as a charade and stated that they do not know the Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC).

This decision comes after the APC's state Publicity Secretary, Darlington Nwauju, accused RSIEC of bias in previous elections. Nwauju highlighted the suspension of faction candidates in the past and expressed concerns about the current commission led by Dr.

Michael Odey. The ADC party has made it clear that they will not be involved in the election, citing lack of confidence in the electoral process.
