Lagos APC Denies State Funding Allegations, Affirms Independence

The Lagos chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has publicly denied claims that it receives funding from the state government to finance its activities. In a statement issued on Saturday, the party's spokesman, Mogaji Hon. Sey Oladejo, clarified that the APC operates as an independent political organization with its own internal structure for financing and logistics.

Oladejo refuted reports suggesting that Lagos delegates were stranded due to a lack of mobilization funds, labeling such claims as false. He insisted that accredited delegates were provided with adequate arrangements for their journey, including decent accommodation upon arrival.

The Lagos APC accused those behind the report of attempting to misinform the public and distort facts. The party reaffirmed its commitment to internal unity and continued support for good governance in Lagos State and across the country.
