Adeleke Criticizes APC Over Local Government Funds

Governor Adeleke of Osun State addressed the issue of local government funding during a project review meeting. He revealed that the state has been utilizing funds meant for state projects to sustain local government workers due to the withholding of 300 billion Naira by the APC.

He accused the APC of diverting these funds without considering the welfare of local government employees. Despite a court ruling that dismissed APC chairmen, the governor emphasized the need for accountability and responsibility in managing local government resources.

He also expressed satisfaction with the ongoing infrastructure projects, including dualization works in various towns such as Iwo, Ila-Orangun, and Osogbo, and urged contractors to expedite their work. Adeleke reaffirmed his administration's commitment to not abandon the people of Osun State.
