APC Criticizes Adeleke Over ₦300 Billion LG Funds Claim

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has condemned Governor Ademola Adeleke over his assertion regarding ₦300 billion allocated for local government funds. The APC's Director of Media, Kola Olabisi, accused Adeleke of inciting senior local government workers and failing to release payment vouchers, which has led to allegations of blackmail against the party.

The APC highlighted that the state government has not fulfilled its responsibility to pay local teachers, health workers, and local government staff their pensions and salaries, some of which have been outstanding for a year. The party's statement emphasizes the need for accountability and proper management of funds intended for local government councils.
