Jigawa Governor Commits to Walida Abdulhadi's Case

On Thursday, Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi expressed the state's readiness to pursue the abduction case involving citizen Walida Abdulhadi. In a press statement made available to newsmen by the Chief Press Secretary, Hamisu Moham Gumel, the governor assured that the legal process would be followed to ensure justice.

During a meeting with Walida's parents at the Government House in Dutsin-Ma, Governor Namadi briefed them on Walida's current condition and reiterated the government's dedication to her full rehabilitation, continued education, and overall welfare. The state government will cover the medical rehabilitation expenses and will reintegrate Walida with her family upon completion of the rehabilitation process.

Additionally, social workers will be deployed to provide professional care and psychosocial support. The governor confirmed that Walida would be enrolled back in school, ensuring that justice prevails against those found culpable in the abduction.
