Soludo Addresses Arrests of Native Doctors in Anambra

In a media chat, Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State clarified the state's position on the recent arrests of native doctors. He emphasized that the government does not oppose traditional religion but is committed to combating criminal activities linked to some practitioners.

Soludo stated that native doctors involved in preparing charms for kidnappings, armed robbery, and other evil practices, including human sacrifice, are not representative of genuine traditional medicine. He highlighted the need to expose and deal decisively with these nefarious acts, which he believes contribute to societal issues such as internet fraud and idolatry.

The governor's remarks underscore the state's duty to stop diabolical rituals that lead to criminal behavior, aiming for a swift return to the socio-cultural life of the Igbo people.
