Wike Warns FCTA Workers of Consequences for Strike Disobedience

Governor Wike of Rivers State issued a warning to Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) workers who failed to resume work, vowing to take strict action. The workers had been on strike, disregarding a court order to halt the industrial action.

Wike emphasized that those attempting to block the office premises would be held accountable. The Nation Industrial Court of Nigeria in Abuja had granted an injunction filed by the FCTA to compel the workers to suspend the ongoing strike, which the workers defied.
