Oyo APC Aspirants Claim No Governorship Candidate Yet

Six governorship aspirants from the Oyo State chapter of the APC have publicly stated that the party has not yet chosen a candidate for the upcoming elections. This declaration was made during a press engagement where the aspirants, including Hakeem Alaо, Rauf Olaniyan, Ayobami Lam Adesina, Akeem Agbaj, Ololade Bakar, and Musibau Asanik, addressed issues surrounding candidate selection.

They met with a reconciliation committee led by Senator Femi Lanlehin to discuss grievances and the need for unity within the party. The aspirants insisted that contrary to claims by certain individuals, no candidate has been elected, and they urged the committee to resolve the ongoing issues.

They emphasized their commitment to the party's success in both the gubernatorial and presidential elections in Oyo State and expressed their readiness to work together once a candidate is selected.
