NSCDC Recruitment Sees Over 793,000 Disqualified Applications

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) is currently managing a recruitment process for prospective candidates. In the 2025/2026 recruitment cycle, a total of 1,873,522 applications were submitted, but 793,858 were either incomplete or disqualified due to various reasons such as failure to meet eligibility requirements and inconsistencies in submitted data.

This left 1,120,491 completed applications that proceeded to the Computer-Based Test (CBT), which took place from 12 to 19 November 2025. Out of the 872,391 candidates who participated in the CBT, 650,395 achieved the passing mark of 41 and above.

Successful applicants will be shortlisted based on merit and are required to visit the official Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Service Board (CDCFIB) portal to check their status, select screening venues, and print invitation slips. Physical screenings will occur at State Command Headquarters across Nigeria for document verification and physical assessment.
