Yari Declares Tinubu Unmatched by 2027 Aspirants

On Thursday, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, the Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, asserted that none of the presidential aspirants contesting against President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election are comparable to him in terms of merit and quality. Speaking to members of the Nigerian Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Gusau, Zamfara State, Yari emphasized that while other candidates have the right to contest, the APC is committed to securing victory for Tinubu.

He stated, “When you put all the aspirants contesting against Bola Ahmed Tinubu on a scale, I don’t think the scale would even accept them,” and claimed that none possess even 10 percent of Tinubu's capabilities. Yari called for prayers for Tinubu and Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal, expressing confidence in their success in the upcoming elections.

He stressed that the campaign would extend beyond the election, focusing on engaging Nigerians about the country's future.
