ADC Expels Leke Abejide and Others for Disciplinary Issues

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) confirmed the expulsion of several members, including Leke Abejide and Bala-Gombe, due to actions deemed contrary to the party's constitution. This decision was made during the national convention held on April 14, 2026, in Abuja, where a disciplinary motion was adopted.

The statement was released on Wednesday by the party's national public secretary, indicating that the expulsion takes immediate effect. The leadership of the ADC, under the chairmanship of David Mark, ratified the motion, which affected multiple individuals, including Kingslei Temitop Oggah, Don Norman Obinna, Kennedi Odion, Clement Ehigi, Stella Chukwuma, Patrick Ambut, Johni Tovi, Derek Duke, Dick Elia Adikwu, and Abdullahi.

The expulsion reflects the party's commitment to uphold its constitutional values and maintain discipline among its members.
