Wike Nullifies 485 Fraudulent Land Documents in Abuja

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, announced the nullification of 485 land documents in Abuja, citing failures in the official verification process that confirmed several applications as fraudulent. The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) issued a public notice regarding this decision, emphasizing that the affected applications did not pass necessary official checks to verify their authenticity.

The nullification affects various districts and satellite towns within the Federal Capital Territory, including Bwari Area Council, Ushafa Village, Dawaki, Kurudu, Jikwoyi, Nyanya, and Kuje. The action aims to expunge these fraudulent applications from the regular database maintained by the FCTA's Department of Land Administration.

The public notice warns document holders of the implications of this decision and reflects the minister's approval to uphold the integrity of land administration in Abuja, in accordance with the Land Use Act of 1978.
