Wike Celebrates ECOWAS HQ as a Symbol of Unity

On Tuesday, during an official handover ceremony in Abuja, Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), celebrated the newly completed ECOWAS headquarters, which was funded by the People's Republic of China. Wike described the building as a powerful symbol of regional solidarity and international cooperation, emphasizing its role in shaping the future of West Africa.

He stated that the event transcends the physical structure of the headquarters, representing a vision of partnership and unity aimed at resolving challenges in the region. Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, the Minister of State, commended the contributions of the People's Republic of China, highlighting the project as a testament to the enduring values of diplomacy and constructive international engagement.
