Wike Expresses Confidence in PDP's Future Recovery

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, addressed the media in Abuja regarding the challenges faced by the People's Democratic Party (PDP). He emphasized that he does not intend to pretend about the party's situation and reaffirmed his loyalty to the PDP.

Wike acknowledged the difficulties but expressed confidence that the party will recover, stating, "PDP will rise again." He dismissed claims that a significant number of governors control the party's presidential candidacy, asserting that such ideas are incorrect. Wike highlighted the importance of compromise in leadership and stressed that everyone must play their respective roles within the government.

Wike concluded by encouraging people to see the positive impacts of governance in their communities, despite the current political landscape where the APC controls 30 states while the PDP retains three.
