Windstorm Damages Kugbo Bus Terminal in Abuja

On Tuesday, a strong windstorm caused damage to parts of the Kugbo Bus Terminal located in the Nyanya area of Abuja. The incident was disclosed by Lere Olayinka, the spokesman for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike.

Following the storm, which also brought heavy rain, Wike ordered security agencies to maintain control in the affected area to ensure smooth traffic movement. The storm resulted in minor damage to the Nyanya pedestrian bridge and nearby buildings, but fortunately, there were no reported injuries or vehicle damages.

Wike emphasized the need for quick repairs to address the damage caused by the storm and instructed that measures be taken immediately to restore order and facilitate traffic flow in the area.
