Galatasaray's Albayrak Discusses Osimhen Transfer Challenges

Abdurrahim Albayrak, the former vice president of Galatasaray, stated that replicating the record-breaking transfer of Victor Osimhen will be a difficult task for the club. He acknowledged that Galatasaray aims to compete at the highest level in Europe while pursuing domestic success in the 2024-25 season.

Osimhen, who previously played for Napoli, was transferred for €75 million, marking a significant moment in Turkish football history. Albayrak reflected on the impact Osimhen had on the club and noted that securing players of his caliber presents financial challenges.

He expressed hope for future success, stating that while Galatasaray has three years left on Osimhen's deal, there are strong links to his potential departure with interest from European heavyweights such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, and Arsenal.
