Woman Delivers Twins at Kebbi Empowerment Program

During an empowerment program in Birnin Kebbi on Sunday, a woman identified as Mallama delivered twin boys unexpectedly. The event, attended by Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris and his wife Zainab Nasar, aimed to gather financial support for women.

Following the birth announcement, a member of the House of Representatives for Suru/Bagudo Federal Constituency, Bello Dallatun, donated N5 million to assist the mother with healthcare needs. The woman went into labor during the event and was subsequently evacuated to a hospital for further medical care.

Additionally, the Chairman of the Kebbi Pilgrim Welfare Agency, Faruk Aliyu Yaro, donated one million wrappers to be distributed among members to celebrate Eid el-Kabir. He also announced a donation of N30 million on behalf of the association to support women’s initiatives, emphasizing the commitment to improving the welfare of women in the community.
