World Cup Memorabilia Auction to Support Education Fund

A week-long online auction of World Cup memorabilia will begin on July 22, organized by a New York auction house. The auction aims to raise funds for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which supports educational initiatives for over 100 million children worldwide.

Key items include a yellow crop top and trousers worn by Colombian pop singer Shakira in the music video for "Dai Dai," which is the official song for the 2026 soccer tournament. Shakira will also wear an outfit during the first-ever World Cup final halftime show, a performance lasting 11 minutes featuring artists Madonna and Justin Bieber.

Additionally, several soccer balls will be auctioned, including one from the final match at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, which took place last month. Other notable items include a signed jersey from Argentine star player Lionel Messi and a signed jersey from the U.S. men's national team.
