YABATECH Launches Five-Year Reform Agenda for Schools

Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has unveiled a comprehensive five-year reform agenda for its staff schools, aimed at enhancing academic excellence and staff welfare. The agenda was disclosed by the Rector, Dr.

Ibraheem Abdul, during the opening of a retreat program held in Ogun State. This retreat, themed "Yaba College of Technology Staff School: Prospect for Growth and Academic Excellence," gathered members of the board of governors, administration, and staff to develop a strategic plan for the years 2026 to 2030.

Dr. Abdul emphasized the importance of the staff school within the YABATECH ecosystem, aiming to engage young learners and provide quality education.

Key reform priorities include strengthening financial systems, increasing student enrollment, enhancing leadership efficiency, and building a culture of excellence. The retreat also focused on aligning institutional policies with measurable outcomes and improving staff welfare through continuous professional development and better working conditions.
