NFF Extraordinary General Assembly Set for Yenagoa

The NFF Extraordinary General Assembly is scheduled to take place on Monday in Yenagoa, the capital of Bayelsa State, at the DSP Alamieyeseigha Banquet Hall inside the Government House. Governor Douye Diri is set to declare the meeting open.

Key figures expected to attend include Shehu Dikko, Chairman of the National Sports Commission; Bukola Olopade, Director General; Abdul Ningi, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Sports; and Kabiru Amadu, Chairman of the House Committee on Sports. The assembly will bring together chairmen and secretaries of football associations from 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, alongside members of the NFF Executive Committee, managers, league representatives, coaches, referees, and player unions.

NFF President Ibrahim Musa Gusau will deliver the opening address. The agenda includes proposed amendments to the NFF statutes, an electoral code, and standing orders.

The congress will also appoint members to the NFF Electoral Committee, Electoral Appeal Committee, and name an independent auditor, with FIFA and CAF already monitoring the proceedings.
