Yobe Assembly Forms Committee to Probe Healthcare Complaints

The Yobe State House of Assembly has formed an ad-hoc committee tasked with investigating serious complaints alleging misconduct by healthcare practitioners in hospitals throughout the state. The announcement was made by the Speaker of the House, Rt.

Hon. Chiroma Buba Mashio, during a plenary session that marked the resumption of the House from its annual recess. The committee is mandated to determine whether there is a shortage of qualified medical doctors in health facilities.

The Deputy Speaker, Ya U. Usman, will chair the committee, which includes members Aham Musa Dumbol, Kachalla Ajiya, Maina Sanda, Kara Bade, Saminu Musa Lawan, and Moham Ali.

This initiative follows significant achievements in the health sector under the administration of Governor Mai Mala Buni and aims to address public complaints through thorough investigation and implementation of appropriate solutions.
