Yobe Philanthropist Sponsors Mass Wedding for 100 Couples

On Thursday, Buba Yadi, a prominent philanthropist, sponsored a mass wedding for 100 couples in Gujba Local Government Area, Yobe State. The event was organized by the Yobe State Hisbah Commission and aimed to promote social welfare and strengthen family values while supporting vulnerable groups in the community.

Yadi's intervention is part of efforts to improve the welfare of less privileged individuals and promote social stability. He also provided N100,000 as dowries for the grooms and distributed Sallah clothing to 415 orphans, enabling them to celebrate the festive period.

Governor Mai Mala Buni commended Yadi's achievements and the ongoing development projects in the area, emphasizing the importance of community support for humanitarian initiatives. Yadi urged residents to sustain their support for the administration and encouraged newly married couples to embrace patience, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence to build strong, stable families that contribute positively to society.
