Yobe South APC Appeals to Tinubu Over Lopsided Appointments

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yobe South have appealed to President Bola Tinubu to address what they perceive as lopsided federal appointments. A delegation led by Hon.

Sambo Kakawa protested at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, highlighting the alleged exclusion of Yobe South in federal appointments despite its significant contribution to the party's electoral success. According to INEC data, Yobe South leads in registered votes in the state but has been left out of federal appointments, unlike Yobe East and Yobe North.

The delegation urged Tinubu to consider the aspirations and representation of the people of Yobe South, warning against continued marginalization of the region.
