Zadok Yohanna Doubtful for Unity Cup Due to Injury

Zadok Yohanna, an 18-year-old winger for AIK, is doubtful for the upcoming Unity Cup, which will take place from May 26 to 30 in London. He suffered an injury during AIK's 4-2 defeat to Djurgården in the Swedish Allsvenskan on Sunday.

As a result, he will miss the league game against Västerås and has begun rehabilitation. AIK has stated they will not rush him back into action, which raises concerns about his availability for the Unity Cup.

Coach Ric Chell of the Nigeria National Football Team had hoped to include Yohanna, who has scored two goals and provided three assists in seven league appearances this season, in the squad as Nigeria aims to defend their title. Yohanna joined AIK last summer and has made a significant impact, recording five goals and two assists in 11 appearances across all competitions.

His contract with AIK runs until December 2029.
