Nigerian music producer Samklef publicly criticized singer Teni for her involvement in a plea to help resolve the reported marital issues of Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru and 2Face. The situation stemmed from a heated argument between 2Face and his wife in the UK, which led to police intervention and brief arrest.

Teni had called on fellow artists like Timaya and Kcee to support the situation, prompting Samklef to insult her and urge her to delete the video from social media.
