Akindele Critiques Aiyedatiwa's APC Reconciliation Efforts

Rt. Hon. Jumoke Akindele, the former Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, expressed her concerns regarding the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, particularly criticizing Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa's reconciliation committee, which she deemed "nonsense." Akindele warned that it would be politically detrimental for the governor to support opposition parties in the upcoming 2027 general elections, especially after the National Working Committee (NWC) rejected his preferred candidates.

She emphasized the need for immediate reconciliation to prevent the crisis in Ondo South from spreading statewide before December. Akindele condemned the anti-party activities among APC members and urged them to cease actions that could undermine President Bola Tinubu's mandate.

She appealed for unity within the party, stating that working against it is dishonorable. Akindele reiterated her commitment to the APC and President Tinubu's continuity agenda.
