ADC Candidate Shinkafi Launches Grassroots Campaign for 2027

Bilyaminu Yusuf Shinkafi, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate in Zamfara State, has announced the party's intention to intensify grassroots mobilization in preparation for the 2027 governorship election. In an interview in Abuja, Shinkafi stated that the ADC plans to engage directly with communities across the state to explain its programs and seek voter support.

He emphasized the need for an issues-based campaign focusing on security, education, healthcare, agriculture, and employment. Shinkafi avoided making predictions about the election outcome but assured that the ADC would mobilize support effectively.

The inauguration of the ADC's presidential and governorship campaign offices, along with a stakeholders' meeting scheduled for next month, aims to strengthen the party's organizational structure. Shinkafi expressed confidence that the ADC would convince voters to support its candidates across the ballot, asserting that the party's approach would not rely solely on political structures or prominent stakeholders.
