ADC Candidate Shinkafi Prioritizes Security for Zamfara

Bilyaminu Yusuf Shinkafi, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate for Zamfara State, asserted that the state cannot achieve prosperity while its citizens are unsafe. In a statement made on Thursday in Gusau, he highlighted that insecurity has caused community disruptions, family displacements, and has kept farmers from their lands.

Shinkafi declared that security will be the cornerstone of his proposed administration. He also identified poverty, inadequate education, poor healthcare, and limited economic opportunities as significant challenges facing Zamfara.

His administration plans to prioritize quality education, accessible healthcare, security, support for farmers, and job creation for youth. Furthermore, Shinkafi called for a peaceful and issue-based campaign for the 2027 elections, urging political parties and candidates to focus on ideas and programs rather than personal attacks, stating that Zamfara is larger than any political entity.
