ADC Candidate Shinkafi Advocates for Safety in Zamfara

Bilyaminu Yusuf Shinkafi, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Governorship Candidate in Zamfara State, declared that the prosperity of Zamfara is unattainable without the safety of its citizens. In a statement issued on Thursday in Gusau, he introduced himself to stakeholders and supporters, addressing the significant challenges facing the state, including insecurity, poverty, inadequate education, poor healthcare, and limited economic opportunities.

Shinkafi emphasized that insecurity has disrupted communities and displaced families, preventing farmers from accessing their lands. He committed to making security the foundation of his government and advocated for quality education, accessible healthcare, and job opportunities for the youth.

He called on all political parties and candidates to engage in a peaceful, issues-based campaign for the 2027 elections, urging a focus on ideas and programs rather than personal attacks. Shinkafi stressed that Zamfara is larger than any political party or candidate.
