APC Chieftain Bakyasuwa Resigns Over Insecurity Issues

Bakyasuwa, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), announced his resignation in a letter addressed to the APC Chairman of Dosara/Birnin Kaya Ward. He cited personal convictions and dissatisfaction with the Federal Government's management of persistent insecurity in Zamfara State.

In his letter, Bakyasuwa expressed deep concern regarding the ongoing banditry and the killings of innocent residents, stating that the APC-led Federal Government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has not done enough to effectively address the security crisis. He criticized what he perceived as a lack of sufficient political will to resolve the ongoing insecurity challenges.

Bakyasuwa thanked the APC for the opportunity to serve but confirmed that his resignation was effective immediately. His departure comes amid escalating concerns over banditry, kidnapping, and attacks on communities in Zamfara State, which remains a significant political and public issue.
