APC Chieftain Bakyasuwa Resigns Over Insecurity Issues

Hon. Muhammad Bello Yakubu Bakyasuwa, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Maradun Local Government Area (LGA), has resigned from the party effective immediately. In his resignation letter addressed to the Chairman of the APC in Dosara/Birnin Kaya Ward, Bakyasuwa expressed his decision was influenced by personal convictions and dissatisfaction with the APC-led administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He specifically criticized the federal government's failure to effectively address the persistent banditry and killings in Zamfara state. Bakyasuwa noted his concerns regarding the perceived lack of political will to resolve these security challenges.

He concluded his letter by thanking the APC for the opportunity to be a member but expressed a sharp rebuke, stating, “I wish the party at this moment had a sudden end.”.
