Jaji Alleges PDP Infiltration in APC Congresses in Zamfara

Aminu Jaji, a member of the House of Representatives representing Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji in Zamfara, has publicly condemned the recent APC ward and local government congresses, alleging that they were infiltrated by the opposition party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP). In a press briefing held in Gusau, Jaji described the congresses as "null and void" due to alleged irregularities and claimed that the APC national secretariat was complicit in these actions.

He accused the committee responsible for the congresses of conspiring against APC members in the state, stating that the congress was conducted without proper participation from APC members. Jaji has called for the cancellation of what he termed a "kangaroo congress" and urged the APC national chairman to intervene.

He also appealed to the Minister of State for Defence and former Zamfara Governor Bello Matawalle to help resolve the ongoing crisis within the party to prevent a repeat of the issues faced in 2019.
