ZASCOSA Inaugurates Committees for November AGM

On August 29, 2026, Esv. Dung Nehemiah Rwang, the National President of the Zaria Secondary School Old Students Association (ZASCOSA), inaugurated 10 sub-committees to facilitate the association's activities and prepare for its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Dinner Award Night scheduled for November 2026.

Rwang emphasized the importance of members utilizing their professional expertise in their respective roles. The committees include members’ welfare and health, finance and fundraising, projects and development, membership and records, social activities, publicity and media, legal affairs, education and mentorship, business and investment, and diaspora engagement.

The Welfare and Health Committee will focus on the wellbeing of members, including support for sick members and financial assistance, while the Finance and Fundraising Committee will manage dues collection and fundraising initiatives. The selection of committee members was based on their experience and professional backgrounds, and Rwang urged commitment to ensure the success of the committees.
