Zedcrest Appoints Simbiat Bada as MD of Stockbroking Arm

Zedcrest Group announced the appointment of Simbiat Bada as the Managing Director of its stockbroking arm, Zedcrest Securities. This appointment follows the company's acquisition of RMB Nigeria Stockbrok, pending approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Adedayo Amzat, CFA, Group Managing Director of Zedcrest, stated that Bada's appointment reflects the company's commitment to expanding its securities trading operations. Bada's experience in unlocking new opportunities is expected to strengthen Zedcrest's position in the equity market.

She is a certified investment professional with nearly a decade of experience in securities trading, asset management, and business development. Bada holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from American University of Nigeria, Yola, and a master's degree in Economics from the University of Lagos.

She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) and a qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAN). Prior to joining Zedcrest Securities, Bada held key roles at Vetiva Securities and WSTC Financial Services.
