Zidane Signs as France Coach Until 2030

Zinedine Zidane has reportedly signed a deal to become the head coach of the French national team until June 2030, as claimed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The announcement is expected to be made soon, with Zidane set to officially unveil his new role.

Zidane, who is 54 years old, has been without a coaching position since leaving Real Madrid in 2021, where he had two successful spells, winning three consecutive UEFA Champions League titles from 2016 to 2018 and two La Liga titles. He has long been linked to the French national team job and has publicly expressed interest in coaching the team.

Current coach Didier Deschamps is expected to leave his role after the 2026 World Cup, making Zidane a potential successor. Zidane is anticipated to lead France in the 2027 UEFA Nations League, Euro 2028, and the 2030 FIFA World Cup.

The French Football Federation has not yet issued an official statement confirming Zidane's appointment.
