Zoning Your Ticket To South May Push North To Support Tinubu – AYCF Warns PDP

The Arewa Youth Consultative Forum (AYCF) has warned the People's Democratic Party (PDP) that zoning the presidential ticket to the South may push the North to support Bola Tinubu. The PDP recently held its 102nd meeting where they decided to zone the presidential ticket to the South while retaining the current National Working Committee led by Ambassador Umar Damagum.

AYCF's spokesperson, Shettima, expressed concerns over the decision, stating that it raises many questions that need answers. He also warned that the North may shift its support to Tinubu if the PDP goes ahead with this zoning.

The warning comes amidst growing political tensions and uncertainties ahead of the 2023 elections.
