Heads

Four men were arrested by the Kwara State Police Command for involvement in the removal of human heads from graves and possession of suspected human hands for rituals. Investigations are ongoing, with connections to a herbalist and a vigilante member.

Three suspects were arrested in Omupo for allegedly exhuming nine graves and removing heads from the bodies. The police commissioner, Ojo Adekimi, reported that the suspects confessed during interrogation, with one claiming they were chasing a rat when apprehended.

Two brothers, Abu Jimoh and Ayo Jimoh, were arrested by the Kwara State Police for exhuming human heads from nine graves in Omupo. The police investigation began after community members reported the breaches in May 2026.
