A Federal High Court in Birnin Kebbi sentenced Ripin Liu to six years and two others to 15 years each for terrorism-related offences. The court found them guilty of supporting terrorists and ordered the forfeiture of a vehicle and motorcycle linked to the crimes.
The Kebbi State Police Command secured the conviction of 19 suspects for terrorism and arms offences after 17 months of investigation. Key figures included Aliyu Hadari and Umar Musa Uzzi, sentenced to 15 years for terrorism-related charges.
Two Nigerians and a Chinese national were sentenced for terrorism-related offenses in Kebbi. Aliyu Hadari and Umar Musa Uzzi received 15 years each, while Liu was sentenced to six years. They were convicted for providing logistical support to terrorists.
