The survivors included Al-Mustapha Yusuf (15), Khadija Yusuf (seven), Ummusalama Yusuf (10), Madina Yusuf (six), and Hafsat Yusuf (nine). The unconscious victims were identified as Affan Yusuf (five), Hassana Yusuf (seven), and Ummulkursum Yusuf (nine months).

The victims were handed over to Usman Ibrahim, their father's brother, for further care. The cause of the collapse remains unknown, and investigations are ongoing.

The fire service urged residents to report signs of structural weakness to prevent future incidents.
