16-Year-Old Osaser Okunday Becomes Youngest Chartered Accountant

Osaser Okunday, at the age of 16, has achieved the remarkable feat of becoming Nigeria's youngest chartered accountant by successfully completing the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) professional qualification examinations. This achievement breaks the previous record set in 2022 by Jonathan Adewal, who became the youngest chartered accountant at 17.

Ayodel Olawand, the Minister of Youth Development, commended Okunday's dedication, resilience, and discipline, describing her success as a testament to hard work and commitment. The minister emphasized the importance of supporting young Nigerians to reach their full potential and encouraged youth to remain focused on their goals.
