1xCup Trophy Tour Secures Support in Agege for Youth Football

The 1xCup Trophy Tour made a stop in Agege, where the Executive Chairman of Agege Local Government, Abdul Ganiyu Vinod Obasa, pledged his support for grassroots football development. This visit marked the second stop of the trophy tour ahead of the year's 1xCup tournament.

Members of the organizing committee presented a trophy gift box to the chairman, who expressed appreciation for the initiative's contribution to youth development across Lagos State. J.J.

Akanji introduced the delegation, thanking Obasa for hosting them despite his busy schedule. Dimeji Adedapo highlighted the positive impact of the tournament on youth participation and expressed optimism for this year's competition to create greater opportunities.

Obasa emphasized the importance of sports in youth development strategies and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting sports initiatives in Agege. He also mentioned his club, Vinod FC, and expressed hope for their participation in this year's tournament.
