Nollywood Crew Members Found Dead in Lekki Phase 1

On February 7, 2026, two Nollywood production crew members, Godstim Imeh, a light director and CEO of Geete Light, and Walter Odediran, a creative video director, were discovered dead inside a parked vehicle in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State. They had arrived early to set up lighting equipment for a film shoot.

Colleagues became concerned when they failed to respond to phone calls around noon. Walter Odediran, the twin brother of Walter, recounted that the last time anyone saw them alive was between 7 and 8 a.m. when they took a break for food delivery.

Medical personnel later found Imeh slumped in the car with foam at his mouth and blood from his nose and mouth. The police were notified, and the case was reported to Maroko Police Station before being escalated to the SCID Yaba for further investigation into the unnatural deaths, which will include autopsies and toxicology tests.
