BTS, Bruno Mars, Cardi B Shine at 2026 AMAs

The 2026 American Music Awards, held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, showcased a diverse array of talent with BTS, Bruno Mars, Cardi B, and Sabrina Carpenter each winning three awards. Taylor Swift, despite entering the night with eight nominations and holding the record for the most AMA wins at 40, did not secure any awards.

BTS won the prestigious Artist of the Year award for the second time, while Bruno Mars took home awards for Best Male R&B Artist, Best R&B Song, and Best R&B Album. Cardi B dominated the hip-hop categories, winning Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, Best Hip-Hop Song, and Best Hip-Hop Album.

Sabrina Carpenter achieved success with Album of the Year, Best Female Pop Artist, and Best Pop Album. Other notable winners included Justin Bieber, who made history with 19 AMA awards, and Katsey Hunter, who was recognized as New Artist of the Year.

The event was hosted by Queen Latifah and broadcast live on CBS and Paramount.
