FCC Enhances Staff Welfare with Promotions and Payments

On May 1, 2026, during the Workers' Day celebration held at the Federal Character Commission (FCC) headquarters in Abuja, Executive Chairman Hulayat Motunrayo Omidiran reaffirmed the administration's commitment to staff welfare and career progression. She announced the approval of funds for the payment of retirement entitlements, with disbursements commencing in batches.

Omidiran also disclosed that the staff promotion process would conclude by the end of May 2026. She encouraged patience and prayer among staff, emphasizing the importance of continuous improvement in welfare.

Additionally, she introduced measures to strengthen staff engagement, including quarterly interactions and an annual end-of-year ceremony. Benson Ameh, Chairman of the FCC Tripartite Union Joint Negotiating Council, commended Omidiran's leadership and reform efforts.

Abubakar Tanimu, Director of Human Resources, reiterated the management's commitment to staff development and motivation, aiming to build a professional workforce ready to excel.
