Sam Amadi: ADC, NDC Similar to APC Ahead of 2027 Elections

In an interview with New Central Television on Friday, Sam Amadi, the former chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), expressed that there is no significant difference between the opposition parties, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). He criticized the current political landscape in Nigeria, stating that the opposition parties do not offer a substantial alternative to the APC.

Amadi noted that the political environment is chaotic and that the major parties, including the People's Democratic Party (PDP), have not prepared adequately for the upcoming 2027 general elections. He remarked that the distinctions between these parties are minimal, with only a few individuals standing out, and suggested that the future of Nigerian politics remains bleak if the current dynamics continue.
