Otukpo Alumni Back Akume and Tinubu for 2027 Elections

The Government Secondary School Otukpo Old Boys Association (OGSSOBA) has publicly endorsed its member, Sen. George Akume, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the upcoming 2027 general elections. Sen. Akume, who graduated from the school in 1971, has held various significant positions, including two terms as the Governor of Benue State, Senator for Benue North West from 2007 to 2019, and currently serves as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

The association, which comprises over 10,000 members from the former Benue, Plateau, and Gongola states, expressed pride in its alumni's achievements across various fields, including law and engineering, and has produced two State Chief Judges. The National Convener and Coordinator of the support group, Okpe Oko, alongside Chief Ali Igboyi, emphasized their loyalty to Akume, stating, “He is our father, wherever he goes, we go,” affirming their commitment to support President Tinubu's re-election to continue his initiatives.
