APC's 2027 Convention to Uphold Fairness and Law

Rt. Hon. Bello Muhammad Goronyo, the Minister of State for Works and representative of the APC National Convention Committee, emphasized the party's commitment to fairness and the rule of law in preparation for the 2027 general elections.

During a meeting held in Abuja, Goronyo stated that the APC aims to conduct a credible and transparent national convention. He highlighted the establishment of a high-powered legal committee tasked with ensuring compliance with the Federal Republic of Nigeria's electoral laws and the APC's guidelines.

The committee will address legal issues and oversee critical components of the convention process. Goronyo noted that several subcommittees have already submitted documents for review to facilitate a smooth convention.

He reiterated the APC's dedication to democratic values and inclusivity, aiming to foster unity within the party. The committee includes notable figures such as Chief Lateef Fagbemi SAN and Dr. Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh SAN, among others, who will work towards a successful convention that strengthens the party's leadership in Nigeria's democratic landscape.
